Saigon Halal Street street is 100 m long at western gate of Ben Thanh market that was established since 2011 by Mrs. Basiroh - a former British market research. She started up a business for tourists & Malaysians who work and live in Saigon. Before that, tourists coming from country speaking Bahasa had difficulty due to very limited restaurants serving standard Halal foods. Nowadays, there are more than 50 sellers doing business in Saigon Halal street from Halal foods, clothes to souvenirs. Even Hijab can be found here. All products are listed in both Vietnamese Dong (VND) & Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
