This huge park has the most incredible history—Henry VIII used to hunt here, and the Royal Ballet school is situated in the middle. It’s great for a run or long walk as there are wild deer roaming about and coffee stalls dotted around for when you want a break. One of our favourite places. Go and meditate by Pen Ponds at sunrise or sunset. It’s so peaceful and still.

Richmond Park is another great place to get out and have a stroll. It is close to Richmond Town which has many lovely restaurants and it is just a great spot if you love people watching on the river.

Sheen Gate is our nearest entrance to Richmond Park. It's a beautiful place to picnic, walk, run and cycle - bike hire is available at Roehampton Gate car park.

Escape to the great outdoors in Richmond Park with its wide open spaces, grasslands and deer herds, just a stone’s throw from central London. The park is a top UK site for ancient trees and supports a range of rare species
