This 14 mile trail along the Susquehanna trail is peaceful and scenic. Great for biking and walking! I suggest riding your bikes up to Marietta and getting ice cream at Gigi’s.

Popular hiking/biking trail. Trail is paved and well maintained running along the Susquehanna River. Offering stop offs to local cafes and pubs. Molly’s cafe is located just off the North West River trail in Marietta.

This trail is a few more minutes farther than the others we have recommended but it's beautiful and right alongside the river. Walk or bike it, then grab ice cream at Gigis ice cream.

Beautiful paved walk and bike trail from Columbia to Falmouth that follows the Susquehanna River and Pennsylvania Canal. Parking available at many points and towns along the way. To see remnants of the Canal take the path closest to Falmouth. For mill and other building ruins start your trip in Marietta.
