Just a short walk from the cottage is 'Crich stand' A lovely place to enjoy panoramic views stretching seven counties. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy a picnic and flask! With an on-site tea room available near the car park. The stand is a Regiment War Memorial dedicated to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the Mercian Regiment and its antecedents; the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters and the Sherwood Foresters. Distance: 0.5 miles (car: 3 mins walking: 11 mins)
