Salisbury Cathedral is definitely worth a visit, especially at night when it is lit up. Keep an eye out for the peregrine falcons who live at the top of the Cathedral!

Salisbury Cathedral (SP1 2EJ) is regarded as one of the leading examples of Early English Gothic architecture. Its construction commenced in 1220 and was completed in 1258. Spire, added in 1320, is the tallest in England; home to the Magna Carta; houses one of the oldest working clocks in the world, dating from 1386. The Cathedral Close is close to the attractive City centre.
