The big race days are the Colonial Cup for families and Carolina Cup for adults, but there is always something to see. The rolling pastures are idillic and always feature someone out exercising a picturesque horse. There is even a yearly Springdale 5k where runners can take to the race course on foot.

If you love horses, you have to make a trip out to see the Steeplechase Museum. Better yet, come in the spring for the Carolina Cup Horse Race. It's the biggest outdoor cocktail party ever!
