Nour serves the city’s most creative take on Levantine food, and has been doing it since 2016. The handsome pastel-hued space, with its open kitchen and woodfired oven (which roasts breads, pumpkins, tender short-ribs and much more), is also one of the city’s prettiest places to dine. On the regular menu, there's a focus on shared plates, such as kifta nayyeh (roasted chilli, walnuts, pickled cucumber, mint, saltbush and smoked lamb tail fat) and samke harra (snapper spiced with chilli, tahini and pine nuts). Breads, dips, pickles, preserves, couscous, yoghurt, labneh and ashta (Lebanese cream) are all made in-house.

Another amazing restaurant. It's a bit more expensive but the food is reimagined Lebanese cuisine & the signature cocktails are served in a stylish, light-filled restaurant.

Nour is my favourite restaurant in Surry Hills to celebrate a special occasion. It offers a modern take on Libanese food in a beautiful and stylish setting. Great service and atmosphere!
