A local staple for great Craft Beer in Tallahassee. In operation since 2014, Growler Country is a veteran owned and operated craft beer filling station and eatery located in Tallahassee, Florida. It is the creation of brothers Michael and Bobby Carbonell. The idea was hatched over a beer in October 2013 and the brothers worked on the plan for Growler Country diligently for many months. The dream was almost dashed by some anti-craft beer legislation filed in the Florida Senate but the Carbonell brother’s joined the fight with the Florida Brewer’s guild and lobbied to keep growler fills legal. The anti-craft beer bill died and we went full speed ahead to opening Florida’s first dedicated growler filling station. Since opening over 7 years ago, Growler Country has built a loyal fan base and garnered local and national awards, such as being named the Best Craft Beer Bar in Florida in CraftBeer.com’s Great American Beer Bars for 2018 and more recently being named Best of Tallahassee for Craft Beer in 2019.

It is actually a growler filling station with seats for enjoying a pint of flight of craft beer. Comfortable atmosphere, very local, great selection of beer.
