The best baked goods in town, the pies are awesome! On weekends they have sour dough and croissants.

This is my favourite bakery! They have won awards and are very popular. You need to get in their before 11.30am though, otherwise you might be disappointed. There is also a smaller shop in the main street of Te Awamutu, but this is the main one and has way more choices.

If you're heading in this direction (or just really love a good pie) "viands bakery" is 1 stop you have to make! with their award winning pies (literally), specialty breads & delicious sweet treats its a great place to stop.

Viands do the best NZ pies around! They also make amazing muffins.
