Built by Robert Ayres in 1859 as a stage stop and "watering hole". Wikipedia notes that, according to local tradition, Ulysses S. Grant once made a speech from the balcony of Washoe House, but adds that historical evidence for this is lacking.
You can eat locally sourced food, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also has a bar full of locals and they say it’s haunted.
Historical local bar since the 1800's. They even serve breakfast 7 days a week. Fun local crowd to be around.
