The Roost is a renowned local eatery...excellent baking, including bread from their own wheat (which may be the only wheat grown on southern Vancouver Island), yummy sandwiches, coffee, meals to take home. Lots of goodies, can sit inside or outside at patio tables, picnic tables or in a repurposed school bus. Chickens wander about.

Local favourite! Great food. Especially pleasant in the summer months when the bistro is open. Hang out in the bistro garden with a pitcher of sangria.
