An absolutely stunning hike to the north side lookout, a less touristy verson of the Lion's Head lookout and only 5 mins down the road from Mary-a-Lago, enter from the Forty Hills parking lot (which is free).

Great trail, definitely worth the hike in for the amazing views. Less populated than lions head so if you’re looking for a nice quiet trek this is it. Not too many bugs along the bluff, but most inland side trails can get a bit buggy. Parking is free too.

The rugged shoreline rises some 50 meters above the crashing waves, exposing various gradations of the Silurian-age dolomite, roughly 400 to 425 million years old. Sea caves and other unusual rock formations have been carved by ancient waters. Karrens, which are small furrows in the limestone bedrock, demonstrate the erosive properties of rainwater. Dry upland forests predominate. Address: 8 Carter Rd, Lion's Head, ON N0H 1W0
