There are many "Valles" in the area, but the one we like is closest to the city and is called El Zarco. You can fish your own rainbow trout at "El Truchon" and the restaurant will cook it for you. Try the wild mushroom soup and cafe de Olla. There's Horse riding, 4 wheelers for rent here. Bring a jacket since it gets cold even in Summer and umbrella in case it rains. Go have breakfast and stay for lunch. On the way back to the city, make sure you stop by at "Las Fresas (del km 23)" for their strawberries and cream.

If you rent a car (if not call me) you can go to La Marquesa and more specifically to El Truchon. It's a beautifull place 1.5 hours from the city to breath natural air, fish your truch and eat it at mexican style. Delicious quesadillas with mushrooms, huitlacoche and pumpkin flower (flor de calabaza). You'll be on time to sleep on COCO.
