Heavenly Mountain Resort is a ski resort located on the California–Nevada border in South Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. It opened for business on December 15, 1955 and has 97 runs and 30 lifts that are spread between California and Nevada and four base facilities.

Only 10 minutes drive from here. California Lodge has free parking (the Stateline gondola does not). This is a HUGE resort that straddles California and Nevada. You can ski to another state!

One of the largest ski resorts in the USA. Heavenly has skiing for beginners, families and the most advanced skiers/snowboarders in the world. Also the gondola is great for non skiers to ride up and enjoy tubing, zipping and other fun adventures.
