After visiting CKS memorial hall, then must see the presidential building that was built during Taiwan’s Japanese colonial period. Beautiful lighting at night time.

國定古蹟 也是每年元旦及國慶日舉行升旗典禮的地點 The Presidential Office Building was designed by architect Uheiji Nagano during the period of Japanese rule of Taiwan (1895–1945). The structure originally housed the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan. Damaged in Allied bombing during World War II, the building was restored after the war by Chen Yi, the Governor-General of Taiwan Province. It became the Presidential Office in 1950 after the Republic of China lost control of mainland China and relocated the nation's capital to Taipei at the end of the Chinese Civil War. At present, this Baroque-style building is a symbol of the ROC Government and a famous historical landmark in downtown Taipei.

中華民國總統府之廳舍位於臺灣臺北市博愛特區，最初做為日治時代的臺灣總督府辦公廳舍之用，自1919年落成以來，即為重要政治建築。風格為「後期文藝復興式」（late-Renaissance style）[1]，是中華民國文化部所指定的國定古蹟，也是每年元旦及國慶日舉行升旗典禮的地點。

每星期一至星期五 參觀時間為上午09時至12時 (請於上午11時30分前入府) 現場排隊參觀定時導覽時間 09:30、10:00、10:30、11:00、11:30 注意事項 非假日參觀採直接現場排隊方式參觀，15人（含）以上團體請於3天〈不含參觀日、預約日及放假日〉前，以傳真或至本府網站辦理，預約洽詢專線02-23120760、02-23206921，傳真預約02-23120757；請出示身分證件，由博愛路與寶慶路口排隊進入。 假日參觀不需預約，請攜帶身分證件，並完成安全檢查後即可進入。 假日參觀自上午9時起至下午3時止每整點設有「定時導覽」，詳洽現場服務人員，如需團體導覽，請事先傳真預約。 總統府開放參觀完全免費，歡迎蒞臨參觀。
