Nungnung Waterfall is one of the largest and most impressive waterfalls in Bali. Located at the heart of the island, it makes for an adventurous day trip from the North of Bali or Ubud. It involves a bit of a hike to reach the falls, where you can swim, relax, and enjoy nature.

This is an awesome waterfall. Has a small "pool" at the bottom that you can swim in. Fabulous for pictures. Be aware the climb up and hike down can be a little intense. (Takes about 15 to 20 minutes depending on physical condition)

Nine hundred metres above sea level in a small village in the middle of nowhere, lies NungNung Waterfall. The journey here is quite lovely, with lush green rice paddies and plantations in every direction. The car park is easy enough to find, but once you get there, prepare for a long descent ahead. Before you see it, you will most definitely hear it, with the thunderous sound of thousands of gallons of water crashing into a pool below. Once you’ve reached the bottom of the 509 steps (think of the workout you’re getting!) your eyes will get their first glimpse of the stunning fifty-metre-high waterfall. Cameras at the ready…

Nungnung Waterfall is located in a small village with cool air in the height of approximately 900 meters above sea level, 55 km from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Nungnung Waterfall is 50 meters height with a fairly large water discharge. To reach this waterfall, we have to explore the hilly rice fields about 2 km from the highway. Enjoying the scenery along the way to the location of this waterfall will add our fascination to the greatness and omnipotence of the Creator. One of Bali's top waterfalls, 35km or just over an hour from Mana Boutique. Nice scooter ride into the mountains north of Ubud - requires descending over 500 steps to get to the bottom, good shoes and decent physical condition recommended for this adventure.
