Planjka beach is ideal for children and for those who want to try sports activities such as volleyball,water sailing and many others. Climatic conditions are very good for water sports especially for sailing.

The beach is located north of Novalja, along the southeast coast of the Novalja Bay. It is covered with fine sand, it is warm, shallow and well-kept. It has restaurants and various recreational facilities. Due to its excellent maintenance and facilities, the beach has had a blue flag since the summer of 2004. In one of the events thrown by the Croatian Tourist Board and the Blue Flower Media, the beach won two awards – for best kept and most beautiful beach on the Adriatic coast. This beach is great for families with children.

Der Strand liegt nördlich von Novalja, am Südostufer der Bucht Stara Novalja (altes Novalja). Er ist mit feinem Sand bedeckt, warm, flach und ausgezeichnet gepflegt. Es gibt Restaurants und verschiedene Erholungsangebote. Aufgrund seiner ausgezeichneten Gestaltung und Eigenschaften, trägt der Strand seit dem Sommer 2004 die blaue Flagge. Bei den Aktionen der kroatischen Tourismusgemeinschaft, der kroatischen Wirtschaftskammer und der Medien „die blaue Blume“ und „Touristikblume“ erhielt der Strand zwei Auszeichnungen – für den schönsten und für den am besten gestalteten Strand an der Adria. Den Strand empfehlen wir insbesondere Familien mit Kindern.
