Just 4 blocks from Pike Place Market, the Westlake neighborhood is the core of Seattle's downtown shopping., anchored by local favorite Nordstrom (and their budget-friendly Nordstrom Rack). If you need a break from shopping, stop by the fountain, kids play area, or giant chess board to soak in the atmosphere of Westlake.

Adjacent to the Westlake Shopping Center is Westlake Park. I often go by on the way home and I see people of all persuasions playing chess, ping pong, badminton, corn hole often with live music. Surrounded by shops and restaurants in the Central Business District.

This is the closest light rail station. From here you can ride to the stadiums, airport, Capitol Hill, and UW.
