Welcome to the most beautiful/zen place Private house on Nakomis Island on Papakeechie Lake. This place does not feel like it is in Indiana. Porch faces east🔥. It is our favorite spot. Living here temporarily on blackout dates so most common supplies are full and available to use. No outside watercraft of any kind without approval. No motors allow. There are kayaks here to use for free. This is a private lake and we care a lot about our neighbors and the lake and keeping it a slice of Heaven

For anyone seeking a larger city, Fort Wayne is a 45 minutes' drive, where you can visit the Zoo, Theatres and Botanical Conservatory.

Positioned along Oakwood Circle, across from the channel in front, and directly behind the playground in the back, this cottage is just steps away from the beautiful Lake Wawasee! Rise early with a cup of coffee, & head out for a sunrise or sleep in till noon, this 27 acre park property has lots to explore with walking trails, bike paths, & hiking routes along Indiana’s largest natural lake!

Cozy cottage that is nestled in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The four main restaurants on the lake are all within walking distance(5-10 minutes) from the cottage. A full playground is located across the street. Private pier access on Lake Wawasee is an easy three minute walk. The pier is large enough for 5-6 people to lay out on. The cottage has A/C units located upstairs and downstairs. The cottage sleeps six people via one queen bed, one pull out couch, and one futon.
