Welcome to our country retreat 1/2 mile from I-65. Stay for a night during a road trip or a little longer and enjoy the area. Visit the Poarch Creek museum or casino at Exit 57. We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

The porch offers a delightful spot to enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding countryside and provides a warm welcome to residents and guests.

This newly renovated 2 bdrm 1 bath cottage is on Tensaw Island. The island is a private gated community. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax on the screened in porch or large platform deck. This is the perfect place if you love to kayak, fish or just want to spend the day on the Tensaw river or hangout on Gravine Island. With just being an hour drive from Gulf Shores/Orange Beach there are endless possibilities for recreation, food, and entertainment.

We are a little more than an hour from Pensacola Beach, Fl. which boasts historical Fort Pickens and 75 miles from Gulf Shores, AL. Wind Creek Casino just 20 minutes away.

Historic home. This home has 2 bedrooms: King and Full. Both bedrooms have a smart TV with high speed internet. (No cable ). There are 2 bathrooms. One has a clawfoot tub. The other has a shower. Home has a full kitchen with dishwasher, large refrigerator, New W/D, coffees, creamer, hairdryer, shampoo and soap. We also have a toddler bed and one bedrail for toddlers. Nana's Cottage is a two bedroom/1 bath house located on HWY 43 between Grove Hill and Jackson, AL. Our cottage is nestled between Cotton State Barns and a pecan orchard. We are only minutes away from a coffee shop, Walmart, restaurants, antique stores, and Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. Also, Monroeville ( hometown of Harper Lee) is only 35 minutes away.
