Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Dåfjord Lodge & Ocean sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Huset ligger på et lite tun med kjøreadkomst helt fram til døra. 2 soverom har dobbeltseng, 1 har enkeltseng, 1 har 150cm seng. Huset er 82m2 med bad, kjøkken, romslig stue og 4 soverom i 2. etasje. Grillhytte fullt utstyrt på 10m2 med plass til alle. WIFI via 4G nett kan benyttes inntil en viss maksgrense. Vedovn og 2 sekker ved for fritt bruk er inkludert.

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. Log cabin in the wilderness in the Lyngen Alps.

Hytte på ca 70 m2, 3 km fra bilvei midt i Lyngsalpenes indrefilet, innenfor grensene til naturvern området. Rett opp til jægervasstidane, trolltind og stortind. Plass til 2 par, evt 4 personer. Ikke innlagt vann eller strøm men gasskomfyr og peis, gass og/eller parafin for oppvarming. Mobil dusj :-). På sommeren kan zodiac gummibåt lånes, ellers er det ca 30 min skitur inn til hytta fra gratis parkeringsplass. Pulk kan lånes.
