Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. While the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed (2 single beds), it also doubles as a office space which you can do your work while away from home.

The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee.

The Tepee is a cozy studio cabin on Big St. Germain Lake with a fireplace. It is the perfect cabin for a romantic getaway & a great alternative to staying in a hotel with your own pier and right on the lake. The cabin is good for couples, solo adventurers & furry friends. We have a sandy beach for swimming and a community fire pit for campfires. The firewood is provided for the fireplace and fire pit. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer all year round.

The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.
