Beautiful boat ride down the Tickfaw river to Lake Maurepas and Ponchartrain. Da Camp features a large screen porch with 70-inch TV and two large fans great for coffee and cocktails. The kitchen features electric stove and oven, pots and pans, drip coffee pot and all the utensils. There is a large downstairs covered area with a bar and a swing.

We look out onto a wilderness sanctuary with turtles, alligator, beaver, and otter along with a variety of water birds among the characters. The camp is built centered on a 300 plus year old cypress tree.

The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.
