A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! Enjoy your morning coffee on porch before heading out for a hike around Long Pond, a swim at Echo Lake, or a walk into town for the weekly Farmer’s Market, shops and restaurants - all a mile or less away! End your day around the outdoor fire pit, roasting marshmallows or enjoying an evening cocktail.

Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

The Arthaus, an eclectic retreat for two

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

Several access points to Acadia National Park less than 5 miles away; downtown Bar Harbor is a 25 minute drive. The cottage is ideal for couples or families with supervised children.

Our family is excited to share our tiny house with you! Located on our artist collective farm, this is our favorite place on earth. It’s off grid, cottage core, and has a beautiful & fragrant cedar sauna. We are 27 minutes from Acadia National Park and surrounded by truly gorgeous local beaches. We offer super comfy beds, an outdoor shower, twinkle lights, summer nights filled with fireflies, bright maples in the fall, and cozy winter movie nights in a bed alcove like on a boat.
