Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

Featured in the Guardian Travel's "10 of the Best Wilderness Holidays in Scotland" get back-to-basics in this beautiful old croft house bothy, hidden on a hillside between the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan Castle. With no running water or cooking facilities, this is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, listen to the waterfall.

Pod- Unique space with beautiful views.

Beautiful setting by the sea. 15 minute drive from Portree. Close to local bus route. Plenty of local wildlife to sit and observe. Within walking distance of local hotel. Outside area with seating provided to enjoy. We now have WiFi available to guests. Earlier (from 4pm) check-in available on certain days - please message to inquire. Small but functional - Pod is 3 meters x 4.8 meters.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.

Ploughman's Rest

Ploughman's Rest is situated in the beautiful village of Torrin with stunning views of Blaven and the Red Cuillins. Torrin is 7 miles from the main village Broadford where you can find the local shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. A great place to get an early start for adventures into the cuillins and boat trips into Loch Courisk and the Small Isles.

Otter Pod , Glenhinnisdal Pods

Otter Pod overlooks the picturesque River Hinnisdal. It is set in a quiet, rural location, 11 miles North of Portree and 4 miles South of Uig. It is a fully self-contained unit with under floor heating, toilet , shower ,double bed , sofa and kitchenette with microwave and fridge/ freezer. Please note there is NO Hob.

A cosy self contained cabin which is ideal for couples and solo travellers. Panoramic sea views and plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy. Located in a more rural area of Skye offering peace and quite, convient location to many of the main tourist attractions.
