It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Located a 25 minute’s walk from Oxenholme Train Station and a 20 minute’s walk to Kendal town centre . The Snug is 15 minutes walk from the Brewery Arts Centre and right opposite Kendal Leisure Centre where lots of events are held. A short distance away from a variety of pubs and cafes . Kendal is 9 miles from Windermere which makes it a great base for exploring The Lake District.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Groom's Cottage is a cosy 1 bedroom cottage converted from the former stables of a large country house. Set in woodland. Small garden area with patio and private parking for 1 vehicle. Central heating, gas fire, bath with shower over, fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave. All you need to cook your own meals-except food. 4 miles fM6 Jct. 36, 4 miles Kendal 12 miles Windermere. Owners live on site if advice or help is needed.
