Adventure out and enjoy picturesque walks straight out of the door, immerse yourself in the allure of a 12th century priory, explore the beautiful Vale coastline and beaches, or trek to Merthyr Mawr sand dunes, a unique and magical nature reserve. Bridgend 5 mins, Cowbridge 5 mins, and Cardiff 20 mins by car.

At the end of our drive is the trendy and dog-friendly village pub with its rich history and pop-up menus, The Cross Inn. There are countryside views, ensuite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens.

Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. Located 1.5 miles north of Pontypridd town centre, high up on top of Graigwen Hill, the perfect place to explore South Wales with walks directly from the door. The property is part of an active smallholding, the full land mostly used to graze horses. The cottages backs onto a large field where our Highland Cattle graze.
