Rhubarb, the Station House Steam Railway Hut

Rhubarb is a well appointed self-contained shepherd's hut for two. There's an amazingly comfortable king size bed, kitchenette, shower room and flushing toilet. There is central heating so if the evening is chilly you won't be! Situated in the garden of the old Station Master's House at East Somerset Steam Railway Rhubarb is directly adjacent to the station sidings with a wonderful view of the steam trains. We include a complimentary Rover ticket so you can ride for free during your stay!

A quiet luxury getaway

The Cider House is a converted barn tucked away in the village of Pilton, Somerset. It is a large airy and light space. It has a private courtyard and garden, 24 hour under floor heating and hot water. There is a top quality superking bed, excellent for having sleeps in, with hand pressed sheets. To augment heat there's a wood burning stove. We supply and lay a first fire for you with enough logs to get it going after which you can purchase a sack of seasoned logs from us for £10.00 a bag.

Our cottage, set in the grounds of our home, is close to the cities of Bath and Wells as well as Bristol airport, Castle Cary station, Glastonbury, Bath and West show, Babington House and several schools including Downside, All Hallows , Wells Cathedral and Millfield . We are situated on the edge of the Mendip hills just a walk away. The cottage is full of character and laid out over three floors. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).

Step through into the living area and you’ll find a lovely place to sit and admire the views outside. There is also a smart well equipped kitchen.

Solar-powered lighting and mains sockets, double and single bed, a fully equipped kitchen, hot water washing up just outside the door — all a ten minute stroll away from The George, an award-winning pub.

Nestled in a peaceful valley and overlooking surrounding farmland, it truly is a very special and relaxing place to stay. We welcome up to two well behaved dogs (dogs stay FREE). EV charging point. Beautiful and lovingly renovated Coach House in the heart of Pilton village, set in the lush private grounds of our family home. Two double bedrooms, one with free-standing roll top bath (option to add an extra bed/cot for a child); shower room; large open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room, with two sets of double doors leading to a private outdoor dining terrace (with BBQ & fire pit); view and shared use of our paddock with rope swing, baby swing and trampoline for children.

Highlights include Glastonbury Festival, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey, and the beautiful city of Bath.

Hulbert’s Place: C15th house in the heart of Wells

This charming Grade II-listed two bedroom maisonette is situated within a row of ancient dwellings, just a short stroll from Wells Cathedral, The Bishop's Palace and the heart of Wells. Each of the two levels are embellished with wonderful authentic details such as original beams, restored timber floorboards and stone fireplaces. Originally built in the 15th century, the house has been sympathetically restored with an abundance of character, comfort and style.
