Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. It is a modern renovation of a summer fishing cabin, with its wood-clad walls, exposed beams, and large windows that deliver amazing sunrises. While it maintains the original footprint and some of the rustic charm, it offers many modern comforts and amenities. Cabin sleeps 4. Children and dogs are welcome (limit 2 dogs - $25 per dog).

Stay in one of the oldest structures in Sawyer County with private Lake Hayward frontage in your front yard and the Birkie trail, atv and snowmobile trails in the backyard! You can hike, bike, ski, or ride the trails directly from our yard. Plenty of parking-driveway is a loop. Cabin was completely renovated top to bottom in spring of 2021. Enjoy serenity and country feel but also close proximity to Hayward. (2 miles to main street)
