We found 7 1/2 acres here, on the Central Coast, with spectacular views of verdant trees covering rolling hills that reach all the way to the distant mountains south and east of Arroyo Grande Village. Come and stay in our Guesthouse, relax, explore the property, walk the quiet country lanes. For a rural setting, we are surprisingly close to all amenities, beaches, and wineries.

The J Birdsall Banker property was developed from 1917 to 1919. The carriage house was constructed in 1919 and converted into housing during the housing shortage of World War 11 We have always referred to it as the honey moon suite because so many couples have lived there over the last 65 years. Beautiful 1 bedroom cottage newly remodeled building from the 1940's. The space was completely renovated in June of 2019 with plank flooring, tiled shower bathroom with tub and stylish new furnishings. Modern and simple with an emphasis on sustainability. This cottage is on a 45 acre ranch in the country but is close to downtown Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Paso Wine Country and several of California's most beautiful beaches!

Initially a granny flat, it's been transformed into a comfortable and spacious hang out. Its central location makes it ideal to explore the area. The twin beds can be easily configured to a king bed. Price includes a 13% local tax. We are on gated 3 acres. The pool sits between the guest house and our house.
