Not in Topsham, but one of the best hotel-restaurants in the southwest. This is a very special place for very special occasions but we feel it is worth every hard-earned penny! You can come here for a very special afternoon tea overlooking the Exe estuary.

Parks & Nature

One of the most enjoyable things to do is to walk around Topsham's Goat Walk. Simply head past the quay and down The Strand. At the end, you'll reach the Goat Walk, a short path along the estuary. Follow this all the way around and you will eventually come to the RSPB bird hides. Continue either along the cycle path (you can walk to Darts Farm or Exton/Lympstone) or else climb up the hill, then turn left down Monmouth Street to return to Quayside.
There is a RSBP bird hide that overlooks Bowling Green Marshes. To reach it, simply walk down The Strand to the very end, then along the Goat Walk and follow the the road around until you see the bird hide on the right. There is also a RSBP viewing platford that overlooks the confluence of the Exe estuary and the Clyst river.

Rent a bicycle or paddleboard from Route 2 Cycles, swim in Topsham's gorgeous outdoor public pool, join a yoga class, play tennis on the public courts, go to Zumba, tour a local vineyard, or simply sit on the balcony with a glass of wine . . .
