There are numerous bars and restaurants catering for all tastes and the Red Dragon Centre provides options for family entertainment (cinemas, bowling and numerous restaurants).
You can catch a small ferry from the docking station in Bute Park near the Castle which will take you down the River Taff and drop you off in Cardiff Bay.
