Great place to pick up a quick & inexpensive (and delicious) burrito on the way to the beach for a picnic! The Lite Burrito is what I usually get, it's delicious and the healthiest choice.

Hands-down the best coffee (roasted on site) in San Diego. Go there for the coffee not the ambiance. Even better, the new Zumbar in CARDIFF is fantastic! Better ambiance, still small and simple.

For a special occasion, enjoy Jake's right on the ocean. Reserve a seat by the window in advance if possible. Valet parking, but you can walk along the beach to get there from our beach bungalow.

Best local mexican restaurant. Yummy food, beautiful building decor and live mexican music weekend nights and holidays. Try the "skinny" (i think?) margarita with fresh lime juice and agave nectar!
