Every Sunday in the summer people gather at the base of Mount Royal for a big drum circle. People also picnic on the grass, have medieval LARP battles, do acrobatics, juggle, smoke weed, etc. Highly recommend you grab some food and drinks and a blanket and head there on a beautiful day. Combine it with a walk up the mountain for great views of the city if you're more active.
