After hiking Torrey Pines, go to Stratford Court in Delmar for a delicious breakfast or brunch. Excellent food in an outdoor setting. Everything is fresh and delicious.

The Hotel del Coronado is one of my favorite places to go. People travel there from the world over and there are great restaurants at the hotel and all around the area. The beaches are also gorgeous, and the city is another favorite place to bike ride. This is on my top 10 list!

One of the most beautiful hikes with stunning ocean views and cliffs. This hike is a bit of a workout, lots of climbing up and down, but it is so beautiful, you don't mind the workout! I do this hike almost every Sunday.

Balboa Park is another one of my top 10 places in San Diego. It is close by, has more than 17 museums, beautiful gardens, restaurants, biking and hiking trails, and some great people watching. There are always weddings, or other events happening there. It is a very festive and happy place to go and have a picnic, take a walk, visit a museum, bike, hike, or just sit and read. Most of the museums have cafes as well. You can spend days exploring Balboa Park. I still have yet to visit all of the museums. There is also live theater, and more than I can mention. Just don't miss going. Weekends are preferable for most activity.

Essentials
Trader Joe's is right next to a Ralph's (another grocery store) and there is a Whole Foods a little further down on University. I also recommend the Farmer's Market in Hillcrest on Sunday mornings.
