Waiwera has a variety of indoor and outdoor pools with varying temperatures and depths. Most notably we have a Movie pool and water slides. Our height limit for the slides is 1.2m tall.

Goat Island is a marine reserve, about an hour north. It is sign posted just after Warkworth. Is great to go snorkeling or take a ride on the glass bottom boat. It's free if you have your own gear, but gear can be hired if you don't.

Hire a canoe from Puhoi down the river on the outgoing tide or up the river on the incoming tide.
They offer a safe leisurely un-guided paddle along the Puhoi River which meanders 8km from
the Bohemian village of Puhoi through to the scenic Wenderholm Regional Park.
They supply superior kayaks, buoyancy aids, paddling instruction, local river knowledge, maps and a courtesy coach from Wenderholm to Puhoi. They have kayaks or canoes to suit the whole family and cater to almost all ages and fitness levels.
Puhoi River Kayak Trips operate daily:
1 September – 30 June except Christmas Day
Wenderholm Beach Kayak Hire operate:
DAILY from 26 December – 12 January
