Food Scene
It's so good. Friistyle tops pommes frites with everything from wings to lobster. The restaurant is a neighborhood favorite and stays open late. I wouldn't walk to the restaurant at night (take an Uber) but during the day you'll be fine, it's just past the Green line train station.

The best shrimp and mahi mahi tacos I've ever had. I like this place for getting authentic Mexican tacos made to order.

Great breakfast spot within walking distance. Walk down King Drive instead of Vincennes, take in the beautiful homes on the boulevard.

Chicago's famous deep dish pizza since 1974. Go to this location. The one downtown is a tourist trap and will have a 2 hour wait most likely. Don't like deep dish, no problem the thin crust is good too and they also have a gluten free crust option ;-)

I love this place, awesome menu, great drinks and a nice ambience to enjoy it all. The drinks can be a little pricey. This place has the best salads!! Try the sweet potato fries with the honey mustard sauce. Everything on the menu is good there are absolutely no bad decisions made here.

On Tuesday nights, it can be crowded. That seems to be the popular night. In the summertime they have outdoor patio seating. This is a great spot to mix and mingle and meet up with friends. There is a bar and a DJ playing music. nice lounge type of spot, for the crowd that is well above 21+.

Access the lakefront trail from 47th, and 51st streets and Lake Shore Drive. Take in the beautiful scenery and Chicago's skyline views. This is a nice walking or biking trail to do while visiting Chicago.
