If you like to kayak, there's a great place to put-in at Picketts Country Store off F in Rome. Picketts has a great kayaking map in their store (free) and you can pick up a snack for the paddle.

You can park on Main Street in Oconomoc and take a nice walk around the lake. You'll see some lovely lake homes, then you can take a look at all of the nice shops on Main Street.
