OK, I would lie if I say I'd walk there, but my advise is to tube to Trocadero station. On the other side of the river, but gives you the best view in Paris, best place to take your picture!

Remarquable architectural work with gold everywhere... A must see, and yeah OK, there's all the big shops around it (Zara, Printemps, Galleries Lafayette...)
