The C&O Canal starts steps from my front door with a lovely gravel trail and you can follow it for over a hundred miles should you so desire. A great ride is from my place up to Great Falls (18+ mi).

Large outdoor area with spectacular rapids and rugged cliffs. Great place for a picnic after a 9 mile bike ride up the C&O Canal or just for a drive out.
