This is *the* place to go for Detroit-style pizza. I recommend the classic Detroiter or the Greek pizza. They also have their own beer (Buddy's Brew!)

Good Italian place with tapas-style dishes. It's small and can get busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait at night/weekends. They make their own pasta and the pizza is great.

Amazing food and coffee. There's a lot of space to get work done or read a book. There is also a restaurant side (they do a great brunch) and they have a bar as well.

This is a speakeasy with craft cocktails. It's just an unmarked door next to the Live club, so you'll have to look around a little to find it! They have live music occasionally. Great place to go with a group of friends.

Cute little market with fresh food and snacks. It's the closest walking distance/bus ride for quality groceries. They have some paper goods but it's limited. There's also an amazing fish market inside that serves lunch until 3pm.
