Sightseeing

Highly recommend this beautiful walk up to Rosewall Hill. The top of the hill boasts stunning views of both sides of the coast, across to Marion and St. Michael's mount to the south and over to St. Ives on the north coast. You can make this a beautiful circular walk back to St. Ives by following the footpath across the fields to join the coastal path back towards the town.

Follow the coastal path towards Zennor and enjoy stunning views of the coast line, seal island, farm lands and streams. The walk is not for the faint hearted but a nice cold pint, lovely home cooked food and an open fire will great you in this 700 year old traditional Cornish pub.

A short drive from St. Ives through beautiful countryside and Cornish villages, you will find the medieval castle and chapel of St Michael's mount. This ancient rock is well worth a visit but be sure to check the tide times, in order to cross the causeway, to visit the castle as it is immersed when the tide is high and walking across impossible. Alternatively stop for some food or browse the shops in the quaint village of Marazion until the tide turns.
