Pukete is a quiet and beautiful suburb of Hamilton located on the western side of the Waikato river. There are many walking tracks down to the river which link onto the Te Awa River Ride, an amazing walking/cycle track that winds its way for 65km from Ngaruawahia to Lake Karapiro.
Pukete is also five minute drive to Te Awa/The Base Shopping Centre which is the largest shopping complex in Hamilton.
Cinnamon cafe is the best local cafe for coffee or brunch. Very baby/child friendly and popular with the locals.
