The best coffee on Easter road! Always a queue out the door so you may have to wait 5 minutes for your cappuccino, but it’s worth it!

Awesome old man pub with such cool decor and too many ales to choose from. Right on the shore with beautiful views of the water if you can grab a seat outside.

Sightseeing

You can’t visit Edinburgh without going up Arthur’s Seat. It’s an easy walk most of the way, but wear comfy shoes!

Music

Brilliant gig venue with late night DJs too. In cowgate so can be very studenty, but Sneakys is an institution. Gets very crowded and sweaty

Bus/tram or walk!

The buses in Edinburgh are great! The nearest bus stop to the flat is the Brunswick Road stop which is on Easter Road; from here you can take the number 1 into town all along the length of Princes Street. The bus costs £1.80 for a single journey and you can pay with *exact* change, contactless card or you can download the m-tickets app and buy tickets on this before you board the bus. The tram is only really useful in my opinion for going to and from the airport. Edinburgh is a compact city and if it’s a sunny day, why not walk!
