Very nice restaurant located on Rudee Inlet. It is less than a mile from the townhouse. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The Cabana offers a less formal menu and fun gliding chairs.

Great locals favorite for a hardy breakfast with reasonable prices. Located in an old beach cottage on 23rd St. The wait may be long. You can take a buzzer and go to their lounge right Nextdoor and have a $3 Mimosa or Bloody Mary while you wait.

Orion’s Roof has the best view on the boardwalk. It is a part of the Cavalier Hotel. They serve Up Asian Fusion dinners that have received rave reviews. Plan this well in advance! You will need a reservation.

This hotel is a historic beauty. It was built in the 1920’s and played a major roll in the turning Virginia Beach into a vacation destination. The hotel was recently restored and it is worth the 8 mile drive to see it! You can walk around and see the marble stairs gorgeous indoor original pool and interesting artwork. There is often a piano player playing. There is a bar located in the upper level near the piano. There are 3 dining options. Check out The Hunt Room for pub fare and delicious cocktails. The Raleigh room serves breakfast. Becca’s serves “garden inspired” meals. I highly recommend going here if only to see its beauty. There is also Tarnished Truth Distillery in the basement.
