The Pacific Ocean is a must see.
Make sure to dip your toes in the ocean at least once. Santa Monica and Venice beach are the easiest to access but Malibu is the best for quiet and beautiful blue ocean beaches.

This incredible art and architecute marvel is now a museum. Make sure to book and advance and give yourself at least half a day to explore. The tram ride up to the museum from the parking is iconic!
