Sightseeing
Everglades National Park has three visitor centers. The Gulf Coast visitor center is minutes away from the condo. You can schedule boat tours of the 10,000 Islands from this visitor center. The Oasis visitor center is approximately 20 minutes from the condo. Shark Valley is about 40 minutes from the condo. You can schedule tram rides through the Everglades from the Shark Valley visitor center, and they have a fun walking area. Book tram rides in advance though- winter especially. They will sell out quickly.

Nelly’s corner cafe inside the Everglades Fishing Co gas station is a surprising treat. Home made donuts and some of the best sandwiches on the island. The make to go lunches for fishing trips and they do take out. Their breakfast is delicious! Try the BEC sandwich or biscuits and gravy!
