Ngong Ping is famous for the Big Buddha statue, you can take bus number 2 straight to the top or the cable car from Tung Chung (last stop of the 3M bus). A great day out with shopping, temples, great views and the wisdom trail.

A beautiful traditional fishing village. You can see the stilt houses, go hiking to the nearby waterfalls or viewpoints or go on a boat tour to look for the Hong kong pink dolphin!

A short walk from Mui Wo and you will find the silvermine cave and waterfalls.
Hike a further 15 minutes to the Pearl waterfalls - these have a much bigger pool that you can swim in!
