The Xochimilco experience is a must! Yes, it's mostly about drinking while you navigate through really dirty waters, but it's fun and interesting. The only problem is to get there, it's at the very south of the city, and it's funnier and cheaper to do it in group.

It's like 1:30 hours from the city, the only way to get there that I know it's by car, there are some tours also. It's a beautiful forest surrounded by a river that leads you to a really beautiful and big waterfall. It's always cold, it's a 1:00 hr aprox walk, you need good and comfortable shoes, and comfortable warm clothing.

More for the trekking lovers, it also has many levels of difficulty, depending on how far you want to go. If you go during the weekend it may be packed hehe, so I recommend you to try visit it during the week. You need comfortable and warm clothing and a good pair of climbing shoes or tennis shoes/boots.

Tlatelolco it's a beautiful historic place in CDMX. It has ruins, lots of parks and incredibly high buildings. The atmosphere it's just magic. Also there's a museum near by I highly recommend. Here you'll find the historic public hall where the '68 killing happened.

This is a beautiful museum! I don't like museums but I loooove this one. It's a little bit far from the Roma neighborhood but the Metrobus can easily take you there :)

Visit Bosque de Chapultepec! it's incredibly big it has a merry go round, and house of mirrors. You can also make a picnic in the II and Ist Section, the third section it's more like for biking (if you like downhill :D!) It has many beautiful and historical tourist sites. It's way bigger than central park :P
