Brilliant place to take the children and it's FREE. They do good coffee and cake here too. Summer activities for kids as well around the museum. Best to use park and ride or take the bus straight from Wallingford.

The Pitt Rivers Museum is a fantastic place for adults and kids and it's free. Nice coffee box right outside for coffee and cake. Short walk from Oxford's city centre

The birthplace of Winston Churchill and a beautiful stately home to visit. Prebook tickets and public transport are advised as this will give you a discount on your entrance fee. Churchill is buried in the next village Bladon. You can walk there from the house. Takes around 1/2 hr.

On a sunny day, this place is amazing. Has great walks around in the woods too. Food is varied and there is a farm shop as well. Great vantage point to see part of the Oxfordshire plane
